Winterurlaub in Ischgl

Fun in the snow away
from the slopes

Whether on snowshoes or touring skis towards the dazzling white peaks or on cross-country skis in pursuit of winter magic. Whether in the valley, during a stop for refreshments or up on the mountain with new perspectives: Even away from the slopes, your perfect time out in the snow awaits you in Ischgl.

Cross-country skiing

73 kilometres of trails for classic cross-country skiers and skaters extend along the valley floor from Ischgl via the hamlet of Mathon all the way to Galtür. Cross-country skiing courses, rentals as well as on-site consultation can be obtained at the Ischgl Ski School as well as in the local sports shops.

Winter hiking

Kilometres of winter hiking trails along the Trisanna mountain stream, through snow-covered mountain forests and along glistening slope paths. Tucked away from the slopes, the Paznaun Valley is a place to immerse yourself and take a breather surrounded by nature.

Tobogganing

Did you know that one of the longest toboggan runs in the Alps runs from Idalp down to Ischgl in the Silvretta Arena? The 7-kilometre-long night toboggan run with a scorching 950 metres of altitude guarantees fun and action for the whole family. Also under the stars at advertised times.

Events, concerts, highlights

Selected concerts in the valley and in the ski resort, a spectacular ski show, romantic horse-drawn sleigh rides or young and old skating together at the ice rink in the village centre. Happiness and fun in the snow belong to Ischgl like winter belongs to Tyrol.

Ischgl SkyFly

The Zipline is a highlight in Ischgl away from the snow. You glide over the valleys and gorges of the Silvretta Arena at top speeds of up to 84 km/h over a distance of two kilometres and feel almost weightless!
